Übersicht
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager NCS, the Proposal Manager is responsible for managing the quotation and sales administration topics from NIKKISO After Sales Department (NCS).
Verantwortungsbereiche
* Preparation of quotations for aftermarket inquiries related to cryogenic pumps and systems, including both reciprocating and centrifugal pump technologies, CO2 recovery plants, Turbo expander systems and other Nikkiso products.
* Recording / Managing of the quotations in local ERP as well as Salesforce.
* Preparation of repair quotations for all NIKKISO after sales products, with active monitoring of repair schedules with internal & external stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
* Collaboration with workshop for the preparation and review of repair damage and inspection reports.
* Support to sales managers of Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSAs), from initial concept through final contract tailoring, cost modelling and pricing, catering all segments of Nikkiso Products.
* Leadership of technical discussions / negotiation support for segment managers related to LTSAs.
* Cross-functional coordination with Operations, Purchasing department. This role is not an external sales role, however, there may be times when inside sales support may be required by visiting customers
* Representation of the company at trade fairs and industry exhibitions.
* Coordination with Nikkiso manufacturing sites / Headquarter to ensure seamless quote / order / repair execution covering all Segments.
* Creation, maintenance, and control of system articles (part numbers) to ensure data accuracy.
* Follow-up and collection of overdue receivables in coordination with the finance team.
* Onboarding, mentoring, and development of new team members.
* Knowledge transfer and training to enhance team capability and consistency.
* Developing materials for internal procedures through photos / Videos and documentation.
* Assignment, coordination, and monitoring of tasks within the back office team to ensure effective workload distribution.
* Managing & developing the back-office team.
* Support Marketing strategies execution, cold calls etc.
Qualifikationen
* Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Candidates without an engineering degree will be considered if they can show strong technical knowledge and relevant experience on back office and sales support activities.
* Experience in engineered equipment sales of $5MM and above is a plus.
* Strong technical background and good communication skills are a must; knowledge of cryogenic process plants is a plus.
* Ability to understand a client's specifications and weigh them against a solution that will be a win-win both for the company and the client.
* Ability to understand technical drawings and technical documentations.
* Work with Engineering team to develop proposal when necessary.
* Understanding the need and following through on sales documentation.
