Our client is a dynamic Automotive Technology Supplier who are internationally expanding company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as a key strategic partner to the executive team. This role will drive financial strategy, operational efficiency, and long-term growth. The position involves financial leadership across multiple jurisdictions, with a strong focus on M&A, financial planning, and international subsidiary oversight.
Key Focus Areas :
* Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) : Leading financial due diligence, valuation, and integration for strategic transactions.
* Cash Flow & Financial Controlling : Ensuring strong liquidity management and financial oversight across all business units.
* Strategic Financial Planning : Developing and defending long-term financial roadmaps in alignment with business objectives.
* Forecasting & Stakeholder Communication : Presenting financial plans and forecasts to investors, board members, and key stakeholders.
* International Subsidiary Management : Overseeing financial operations in multiple markets, with a focus on compliance and expansion.
Key Responsibilities :
* Develop and execute a comprehensive financial strategy to support business growth and profitability.
* Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
* Oversee cash management, working capital, and financial controls to ensure operational efficiency.
* Provide financial expertise and risk analysis for M&A activities, including due diligence and integration.
* Establish robust financial governance frameworks to ensure compliance with international regulations.
* Maintain strong relationships with investors, banks, and financial partners.
* Implement cost control measures while identifying strategic investment opportunities.
* Drive digital transformation in financial processes and reporting systems.
* Manage tax planning, compliance, and reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
* Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering accountability and strategic focus.
Requirements :
* Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 10 years’ experience in financial leadership, with a strong background as a CFO or senior finance executive.
* Proven expertise in M&A, including financial due diligence, valuation, and post-merger integration.
* Strong knowledge of financial planning, controlling, forecasting, and cash management in an international environment.
* Expertise in German accounting standards (HGB) and transfer pricing accounting in multinational enterprises.
* Deep understanding of international financial regulations, IFRS, and corporate governance.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing finance teams across multiple countries.
* Proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems, and data-driven decision-making.
* Fluent in English and German, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
