Here at Volocopter, we are the pioneers of electric air taxis (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft - eVTOLs). We have pledged to bring sustainable urban air mobility to life by getting electric air taxis off the ground in a way that complements existing transportation options in megacities across the globe. In 2011 we carried out the first-ever crewed flight of a fully electric multicopter and have since conducted more than 2,000 public and private test flights across the world ( ).
Your mission during this flight:
You support us in embedded software development, including both implementation and verification, to achieve certified software that enables certification of our Volocopter aircrafts.
* You develop software, tools and scripts to achieve DO-178C objectives.
* You are responsible for software verification to test the developed software package.
Job Requirements
Check in your professional skills:
* You are currently enrolled in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering
* You are familiar with C and Python
* You have experience with embedded programming, especially experience on the following microcontrollers would be a plus: TI TMS570LC4357 or NXP MPC5777C
* You are comfortable with debugging software in laboratory environment
* You are proficient in technical writing and effective communication in English
* You show an organized work style
* You are reliable and responsible
Preferred skills:
* Experience in requirements engineering using applicable tools (i.e. Doors, RV&S, …)
* Knowledge of software lifecycle and CM tools (Jira, Git, Svn)
* Software verification experience
* MATLAB /Simulink experience
