Group Accounting Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Group Accounting Manager to join their corporate accounting team. This role offers the opportunity to influence IFRS reporting and enhance global financial processes in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the IFRS subject matter expert, ensuring compliance and consistent reporting standards across the group.
* Prepare IFRS consolidated financial statements and manage timely reporting to the parent company.
* Support international subsidiaries with complex IFRS issues, offering clear and effective solutions.
* Liaise with external auditors and coordinate audit activities.
* Drive strategic initiatives to improve accounting processes and implement best practices.
Your Profile:
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; specialisation in international accounting/auditing preferred.
* 5+ years of experience in a leading audit firm or multinational group accounting role.
* Strong IFRS expertise and financial reporting skills.
* Fluent in English and German; other languages are a plus.
* Analytical, proactive, and able to work independently.
* Proficient in MS Office; SAP consolidation experience is an advantage.
