Senior manager change, communication & training (m/f/d)

The Senior Manager Change, Communication and Training (m/f/d) will drive and orchestrate all communication and change activities across Fresenius Kabi’s entities worldwide to support of the ELEVATE Transformation Program. This role combines a holistic, program-level communications perspective with in-depth, domain-specific engagement. The Senior Manager Change, Communication and Training (m/f/d) partners closely with the Head of GPO, the Head of Change, Communication and Training and the Domain Leads (GPO) to define strategy, establish channels, segment audiences, track change readiness and organize training.

Your assignments

Communication Strategy & Planning

1. Partner with the Head of GPO, the Head of Change, Communication and Training and the Domain Leads (GPO) to define the global communication approach for ELEVATE.

2. Develop a multi-tiered communication plan that balances program-wide messaging with tailored, domain-specific content.

3. Identify and segment target audiences across entities, e.g. market units, corporate functions, production sites and distribution centers.

Channel Management & Content Development

4. Establish and manage a suite of communication channels (e.g., intranet portals, newsletters, webinars, site visits, digital signage) to ensure timely, engaging delivery.

5. Produce clear, concise, and visually compelling materials: slide decks, infographics, videos, FAQs, newsletters, and intranet updates.

6. Coordinate with IT and digital teams to optimize and innovate channel capabilities (e.g., Yammer groups, digital dashboards).

Domain-Specific Communication & Change Implementation

7. Establish regular communication about overall program content and progress and share with all sites.

8. Lead communication about the Template Content with sites.

9. Provide regular updates on pilot outcomes, rollout schedules, and benefits realization metrics.

10. Share success stories and lessons from early-adopter plants to reinforce adoption and continuous improvement.

11. Maintain a change log highlighting resolved issues and upcoming enhancements to keep stakeholders informed.

Change Management & Readiness

12. Conduct change impact assessments to identify process, system, and behavior adjustments at each site/DC.

13. Map change readiness levels, capture feedback, and escalate risks or resistance patterns.

14. Co-design and deliver targeted enablement activities (e.g., training briefs, coaching sessions, “change ambassador” networks).

Stakeholder Engagement & Governance

15. Facilitate regular governance forums, steering committees, and stakeholder reviews, preparing agendas and status reports.

16. Act as the primary liaison between GPO, domain teams, site leadership, and corporate communications.

17. Capture and share success stories, lessons learned, and continuous improvement ideas.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

18. Define metrics and KPIs for communication effectiveness (e.g., open rates, event attendance, pulse survey results).

19. Monitor and report on progress, adapting tactics based on data and stakeholder feedback.

20. Benchmark best practices internally and externally to raise the bar on program communications.

Training and Qualifications

21. Define training content for the stakeholders and roles assigned to the domains

22. Define and coordinate training content for qualitative Stakeholder Trainings

23. Identify training need for IT and software trainings (e.g. S/4 Hana module trainings)

Your profile

24. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Change Management, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration or related field.

25. At least 6 years of experience in corporate communications and change management — ideally within a global manufacturing or life-sciences environment.

26. Demonstrable track record of leading complex, multi-site communications related to global SAP S/4HANA transformations.

27. Proficiency with digital collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Yammer, video-conferencing platforms).

28. Strategic Thinker: Able to synthesize program goals into coherent communication roadmaps.

29. Excellent Communicator: Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills; adept at storytelling across media.

30. Influence & Collaboration: Builds trust with diverse stakeholders, navigates complex governance structures.

31. Project Management: Manages multiple workstreams, deadlines, and interdependencies.

32. Data-Driven: Leverages metrics to drive continuous improvement and demonstrate impact.

33. Cultural Agility: Sensitive to regional nuances in language, norms, and regulatory contexts.
