Medical Affairs Director Opportunity

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Affairs professional to lead our Infectious Disease Medical and Scientific Affairs group in the DACH region. This individual will be responsible for participating in scientific meetings, engaging Senior KOLs, and serving as a resource to the medical/scientific community.
* Develop and maintain a working understanding of the Global Health environment relevant to diagnostic needs.
* Establish and maintain a broad network of contacts within relevant stakeholder communities.
* Engage and collaborate with researchers on independent studies that will generate new evidence to drive new applications and expand the footprint of Cepheid products.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a strong scientific background, excellent communication skills, and experience in managing diagnostics studies in infectious diseases. Additionally, you should possess fluency in German and English, with a proven ability to work in a multicultural environment and matrix structure.
* Medical Degree (MD) with specialization in infectious diseases, microbiology or infection prevention and control with 8 years of related work experience.
* Strong scientific writing with successful publication record and excellent communication skills with national/international speaking experience.
