At TI, System Engineers in SEM work to identify key design challenges of end equipment in a market segment, and define systems collaterals such as reference designs to drive new business wins for TI. To do this, they leverage strong technical knowledge of our existing portfolio from different product lines, deep understanding of the technologies, standards and protocols goes into that end equipment, and an ability to translate customer requirements into technical specifications of different integrated circuits in the system. Systems engineers partners closely with product line demand creation team, and our sales partners to drive business growth of the end equipment. Qualifications Minimum requirements: Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field Affinity to think in full system proposals Strong understanding of analog/mixed-signal IC's and their application Experience with EVM / prototype board bring-up and programming basic functionality / firmware Experience promoting/marketing ICs and driving design wins by providing system solutions Familiarity with lab equipment System level circuit modeling with EDA tools, SPICE, Matlab Preferred qualifications: Ability to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders critical to success, both internally and externally Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions Ability to take the initiative and drive for results Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
