We are on the lookout for a (Senior)Software Engineer Python - (Quick Commerce) to join our Product Information Management (PIM)team. As a Senior Engineer, you won't just be writing code; you'll be architecting the backbone of how millions of customers interact with our product content in real-time. We are looking for a senior engineer who thrives on high-traffic challenges and is passionate about engineering excellence.
1. Architect & Innovate: Design and implement cutting-edge, high-traffic services and APIs that transform how we handle content at scale.
2. Drive Evolution: Lead the architectural evolution of our PIM systems, balancing immediate business needs with long-term system health.
3. Collaborate Broadly: Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Data) to solve complex challenges in the content domain.
4. Optimize at Scale: Continuously monitor and fine-tune system performance to ensure a seamless experience for our global users.
5. Own the Product Lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end journey of product data, from internal onboarding to customer-facing exposure, ensuring PIM remains a highly dependable component for the entire QC ecosystem.
6. Culture of Quality: Champion modern methodologies like TDD, Continuous Delivery, and Scrum, while mentoring peers through insightful code reviews.
7. Own the Lifecycle: Take full ownership of your services, from initial design and debugging to post-deployment monitoring and scaling.
Qualifications
8. Python Expertise: 5+ years of professional experience building robust applications in Python. (Experience with Golang is a major plus!)
9. Tier-1 Scale: Proven track record of developing large-scale, distributed systems that handle high request volumes.
10. CS Foundations: A deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
11. Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP, and a "Configuration as Code" mindset using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Helm.
12. Modern DevOps: Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (ArgoCD, Drone, Spinnaker) and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Distributed Tracing).
13. Data Mastery: Superior knowledge of both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis) databases.
