Job purpose/role
Are you passionate about investments? Interested in joining Allianz Investment Management community, responsible for a global € 700bn portfolio?
As Specialist Alternative Assets you play an important part in implementing the alternative asset strategy of Allianz worldwide. In close collaboration with AIM's Private Debt and Real Asset Teams and the asset managers you shape structures and provide IFRS accounting analysis for new investments (e.g. private debt, real estate and traded fixed income). You will directly report to the head of Asset Manager Development - Accounting Solutions.
Key responsibilities
* Contribute to private debt and private equity investment structures. Here you closely work together with asset managers (e.g. AllianzGI and PIMCO)
* Provide accounting analysis for alternative asset investments (e.g. LBO loans), traded assets and derivatives
* Support private asset management through run phase, e.g. by valuation and transaction support in workout cases and re-financing situations
* Conduct analysis to enhance EU taxonomy reporting for different asset classes (e.g. private debt and real estate)
* Present investment accounting and valuation topics to senior management
Key requirements/skills/experience
* You belong to the top 10% of your university program focusing on finance or economics
* You have already gained first working experience (e.g. an internship with a financial service provider or a big4 audit firm)
* You are keen on working in the investment management area
* Proficiency in German and in English
