WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
1. Design, coordination and implementation of the sustainable purchasing & sourcing strategy in accordance with current ESG requirements (CS3D, CSRD, CBAM, conflict minerals etc.)
2. Establish and further develope ESG competence in the global purchasing organization
3. Implement sustainability initiatives in our supplier network
4. Participate in the implementation of a supplier platform to comply with German and european supply chain due diligence laws
5. Represent the division Power Systems in our ESG cross-divisional team
6. Ensure the continuous improvement of the supplier performance level with regard to sustainability criteria
7. Process ESG aspects in the supply chain in coordination with the Head of ESG supply chain and corporate social responsibility departments
8. Take part in internal stakeholder dialogues on sustainability topics in the supply chain
9. Conception of and implement ESG training initiatives for suppliers
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING WITH YOU
10. Successfully completed studies in the field of economics or engineering, ideally with a focus on sustainability management or comparable
11. Preferably training in CSR, CR or sustainability management
12. Knowledge of relevant ESG frameworks (laws, concepts, standards, guidelines & norms)
13. Several years of professional experience in operational and strategic purchasing - ideally in an automotive environment
14. Confident handling of MS Office and SAP
15. Basic understanding of management systems and project management
16. Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
17. Confident handling of social, cultural and ethical issues in a business context
18. Strong communication and interpersonal skills in an international environment
19. Good negotiation skills and strong assertiveness
20. High level of commitment, initiative and resilience
