Power Electronics Engineer - DC/DC Converter / Power Supply

We are currently partnered with a world-leading research center in Germany developing cutting-edge next-generation products across digital power. The team is looking to bring on an experienced power electronics engineer specializing in DC-DC conversion to design highly compact and efficient power supply modules for high-performance computing applications.

This is a permanent opportunity based onsite in Nuremberg, Germany.

Key Responsibilities for this Power Electronics Engineer position:

• Select and optimize power topologies for high-compactness and efficiency.
• Develop simulation models to accurately estimate losses in next-gen power modules.
• Propose new concepts and patents for magnetic components and control schemes.
• Conduct feasibility analysis on cutting-edge concepts and maintain partnerships with European research bodies.

Key Requirements:

• PhD or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics.
• Familiarity with high switching-speed devices (Si & GaN) and gate-driver design.
• Experience in requirements definition for HPC, Datacenters, or ASICs.
• Expert knowledge of isolated and non-isolated DC-DC topologies.
