Tasks
Our Offer Pricing teams shape LHG Airlines’ commercial offer portfolio and corresponding pricing to optimize revenues. During this internship you will get to know the exciting field of revenue management and gain diverse insights into the commercial heart of an airline.
1. Support in maximizing revenues, taking into account willingness to pay, opportunity and displacement costs
2. Support in development and definition of price and offer strategies as well as price portfolios for certain customer groups, such as business or private travelers, corporate customers, tour operators, or individual distribution channels
3. Continuously monitor and analyse market and revenue trends, derive insights and present key findings/ recommendations for strategic actions
4. Conduct benchmark analysis of relevant market players to ensure optimal positioning of price offer
5. Monitor and assess planned pricing activities and coordinate success control (e.g. marketing campaigns)
6. Closely cooperate and exchange with interfaces within Lufthansa Group Revenue Management

Requirements
At the time of the internship you are required to be at least in your 3rd semester in economics or comparable field of study like Tourism Management, Aviation Management, etc.
17. Enrolled for the entire period of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelor's and Master's degree program (Gap Year)
18. Fluent in written and spoken English; German knowledge would be an asset
19. Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Power Point; other statistical software for analysis of data would be a plus
20. Interest in working in an analytical, number & data driven context
21. High analytical skills, technical understanding of IT systems
22. High degree of flexibility, organizational talent, entrepreneurial and conceptual thinking, precise presentation of complex issues
23. Excellent presentation skills
