We are on the lookout for a Legal Counsel- International Employment Law (Couriers) to join our Logistics Legal team on our journey to always deliver amazing experiences.

In the Legal Team, you’ll support key initiatives by providing proactive legal guidance that aligns business goals with regulatory standards. Your work will help mitigate risks and ensure we’re positioned for sustainable, long-term success—making you a key contributor to our mission of delivering amazing experiences worldwide.
1. You will join a team of international employment lawyers, specialising solely in the challenges of platform work and overseeing Couriers classification risks across the world.
2. You will support the team in monitoring ongoing litigation and regulatory investigations, and will contribute to develop defence strategies.
3. You will gain an understanding of our tech stack and delivery operations and work closely with our Product, Tech, and Operations teams to support the development of new features for our delivery apps.
4. You will research legislative updates related to platform work, to support Public Policy teams both at HQ and in our markets.
5. You will be a valuable source of legal knowledge to the broader team and management.
6. You will lead the relationship with some external advisors, and will contribute to improve internal legal processes, reporting and operations.
7. You are open to international travel under short notice if necessary (not exceeding 10% of your yearly working time).
Qualifications
8. You are a qualified employment lawyer in an EU jurisdiction, you have some litigation experience, and 4-6 years of working experience in employment law matters, ideally combining experience in a reputable law firm, and in-house in a tech company!
9. You’re a team player with a collaborative attitude, and you enjoy working with others to achieve common goals. You’re eager to learn and contribute, always ready to support your colleagues in any way you can.
10. You bring a solid foundation in legal knowledge and judgment, and you’re keen to develop and apply your skills while working with senior team members.
11. Your communication skills, both written and verbal, are strong, and you’re comfortable drafting legal documents, preparing presentations, and contributing to team discussions.
12. You thrive in dynamic environments, resilient and adaptable to changes and always ready to take on new challenges.
13. You are fully proficient in English (our working language). Being fluent in at least one of the following languages would be considered a plus: French, Italian, Spanish, German, Arabic, or Turkish.
