Job description
Do you want to contribute to a better world? Do you want to help companies decide how to pack and load their goods? Do you want to make sure they load their trucks in a smart way minimizing empty space? Do you want to tell your friends their package in the delivery truck is planned with the software you built? You’re the right person for our team!
All companies that transport goods have to do packing and loading at some point. There are many parts to this puzzle. There’s packing products into boxes, packing those into pallets, and the actual loading itself. The big issue here is often complexity: it’s a 3D Tetris problem with thousands of real boxes!
We build software to do 3D load building and plan orders using the right boxes, pallets and trucks. We are using the latest version of Angular to build our high complex UIs to support the planners in their planning processes. Your work is to design and implement features which are defined by the product owner. An example of a feature in our software is showing the packed goods in an interactive 3D visualization. This allows planners to assess the quality of the packing results in detail. Next to this we build a feature for planners and dispatchers to see their planned transports for the upcoming days and get quick quality feedback for their most important KPIs - all tailored to the individual customer's needs.
Developments are mainly greenfield, meaning you’ll be developing new features where there’s lots of interaction with the other disciplines in the team.
Your changes make impact!
