We are looking for an experienced teamleader finance (m/f/d) for Burckhardt Deutschland GmbH in Neuss. You will actively contribute to the company's success as the member of the management team responsible for all statutory and management accounting activities, and will be supported by a small team of qualified accountants.
Your tasks:
1. Ensuring proper financial accounting in accordance with HGB (including budget planning, forecasts, liquidity management, cash flow optimization, and cost accounting, etc.)
2. Management and monitoring of accounting and controlling processes
3. Preparation and creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB
4. Submission of periodic VAT, trade tax, and corporate tax returns
5. Timely and accurate reporting of actual figures and quarterly forecasts to Regional and Divisional Management
6. Target vs. actual comparisons, variance analyses, and communication of results to local management, as well as recommendations for optimization
7. Implementation of local and group-wide requirements for document storage and management
8. Coordination of annual audits and main contact person for local auditors
9. Local contact for the digitization and automation of financial processes, as well as continuous improvement of the already implemented SAP solution
10. Contact person for tax advisors, auditors, banks, and authorities, as well as Group finance functions
11. Leadership and development of the local finance and accounting team
12. Promotion of open, trust-based communication and corporate culture
Requirements
13. Completed studies in business administration or a comparable qualification.
14. Further training as a certified accountant is an advantage
15. 10+ years of professional experience in finance and accounting, including in a leadership positio
16. Professional experience in the industrial sector as well as in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) is an advantage
17. Experience in the area of annual financial statements according to HRB
18. Confident English speaking and writing skills as well as good German skills
19. Proficient in SAP and MS Office. Knowledge of Consolidation systems an advantage.
