As the first overseas subsidiary of BYD group, our main focus is to provide European customers with new energy vehicles, rechargeable batteries, solar panels, energy storage systems and other new energy products, as well as related after-sales services.
Denza is the new brand from BYD. The world's largest manufacturer of electrified cars, headquartered in Shenzhen (China), is also coming to Germany this year with its new premium brand Denza. One of the first models of the new BYD brand is the Z9 GT shooting brake, equipped with unique technical features.
As the Network Manager in Germany, you will play a critical role in setting up the DENZA brand business from the ground up. You will assist the Country Manager and lead on DENZA network development, retail operations, and their teams. Your goal will be to establish and further expand the DENZA brand, ensuring its success in Germany.
You will report directly to the Denza Sales Director and work very closely with the German network team and the European headquarters in Amsterdam.
Fixed-term for 2 years.
Key Objectives & Responsibilities:
* Develop a holistic plan for a scalable dealer network for the sales & service of the premium brand Denza in Germany.
* Identify suitable dealer partners and manage all steps to smoothly integrate them into the retail network.
* Ensure compliance with the Denza CI and network guidelines to maintain the highest possible quality of the network.
* Act as a reliable and consistent interface between the German dealers and the BYD organization in Germany and Europe.
* Align legal frameworks, internally and externally, and apply them accordingly.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
* Commercial background in the automotive industry with profound knowledge of different sales layers within automotive – retail, wholesale, and sales strategies.
* Experience in the development of a dealer network – ideally from the German market.
* Excellent communication skills on all levels.
* Capable of working cross-functionally in highly diverse international teams.
* Pragmatic and solution-oriented way of getting things done.
* Specific product experience, particularly understanding the USPs of Chinese EVs.
* Native German and fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
* Willingness to travel.
