As a Financial Controller at Fashion Connections, you play an important role within the finance team. You are not only responsible for accurate financial records, but also bring a structured and detail-oriented way of working that ensures everything runs smoothly and reliably. You naturally take ownership of your work, approach tasks independently, and enjoy diving into the numbers. With your analytical mindset, you are able to spot discrepancies, identify improvements, and translate data into clear insights. At the same time, you work closely with colleagues across departments and contribute to a collaborative and proactive team environment. This is a Financial Controller position with strong development potential towards a senior or more strategic controlling role. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
* Managing day-to-day financial accounting
* Reviewing, coding, and posting incoming and outgoing invoices
* Handling and monitoring payment processes
* Reconciling accounts and analyzing discrepancies
* Supporting month-, quarter-, and year-end closings
* Preparing reports, analyses, and financial overviews
* Collaborating with accountants, auditors, and internal stakeholders

What do you bring as a Financial Controller?
* Degree or vocational training in finance, accounting, or business
* Experience in financial accounting or a similar role
* Solid knowledge of accounting principles
* Experience with accounting software (Navision is a plus) and Excel
