Job Description:

Client Engagement Manager, Distribution (Account Manager, m/w/d)

Job Description

As a Client Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for supporting clients and channel partners with focus on automotive clients, ensuring exceptional customer experience and driving design initiatives and projects that contribute to business growth within an assigned region.



More details on the expectations and responsibilities in this position:


1. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and channel partners within an assigned region
2. Identify new automotive accounts and develop compelling business cases with Microchip’s solutions
3. Apply creative strategies to attract new clients and solve complex challenges
4. Develop and execute cross-regional strategies to achieve business objectives
5. Build strong partnerships with clients and channel partners by presenting Microchip’s unique business insights and cutting-edge technologies
6. Prepare and drive regular Channel Reviews and joint visits with our Channel Partners at clients to actively drive projects into revenue
7. Monitor industry trends and identify emerging opportunities to engage new clients

Requirements/Qualifications:

Job Requirements


8. Solid understanding of the semiconductor Industry and its channel partner networks
9. Good understanding of Automotive market dynamics and long-term industry experience
10. Ability to create market specific analysis and mapping these to Microchip solutions
11. Building, maintaining and synergizing partnerships with our distribution network
12. Understanding Microchips technological capabilities and resources with the ability to translate those into our client’s business requirements
13. Ability to communicate with confidence into C-Level and Top Management contacts
14. Good understanding of embedded electronic system solutions and ability to engage with Research and Development teams
15. Ability to create market specific analysis and map these with Microchip solutions
16. Understanding Microchips technological capabilities and resources with the ability to translate those into our client’s business and system requirements
17. Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage artificial intelligence (AI) tools and platforms to enhance productivity, decision-making, and customer engagement

Qualifications And Experience

18. Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in a business and/or engineering discipline with a strong academic track record
19. 5+ years of relevant work experience
20. Business fluent language skills in German and English
21. Relevant market knowledge and industry experience

23. Communication—Tailors communication to the client’s needs with authority; effectively delivers presentations and has strong verbal and written communication skills
24. Interpersonal Influence—Uses rational and emotional drivers that would appeal to clients to comfortably drive conversations to elements of value for both parties
25. Networking—Identifies the right client stakeholders and builds connections quickly to drive consensus for design wins; works cooperatively with a wide range of internal stakeholders for success
