Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring a Field Service Representative (FSR). The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall function of the deployable communications system for the customer from delivery to deployment. Producing top quality products for the customer is vital. This position will be located at Ramstein Air Base, Ramstein-Miesenbach, Germany and will be a flexible/hybrid position.

GovCIO integrates deployable communications capabilities on behalf of our customer to provide deployable communications capabilities worldwide. GovCIO manages the hardware and software configurations; develops and provides training; field service support, logistics services; and manages Information Assurance and Risk Management Framework processes on behalf of the customer. As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) Field Service Representative (FSR) you are the primary liaison between the customer and company. You are responsible for the overall function of the deployable communications system for the customer from delivery to deployment. You are the SME in system assembly, installation, and system configuration in accordance with site assessments and schematics. You are the SME in ensuring completeness of system programming and optimization as part of the installation process and perform routine system maintenance and analysis functions, including hardware configurations and adding, removing, and replacing equipment components, when necessary. You provide on-site end-user training on system operation, maintenance, and limited troubleshooting. Operate efficiently to conclude all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and test activities.
1. Assembles, installs and configures systems and equipment in accordance with site assessments and schematics
2. Completes system programming and optimization as part of the installation process
3. Performs routine system maintenance and analysis functions, including hardware configurations and adding, removing and replacing equipment components, when necessary
4. Provides on-site end-user training on system operation, maintenance and limited troubleshooting
5. Operate efficiently to conclude all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test activities
6. Perform troubleshooting and strive to resolve issues
7. Produce frequent and analytical service reports
8. Team up with colleagues and pass on important information
9. Discern customer needs and offer advice or recommendations
10. Formulate relationships of trust with customers
11. Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time
12. Maintain effective customer communications and relations
13. May provide onsite training of customer support personnel
14. Familiar with SATCOM terminals and Networking equipment
15. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
16. Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate
17. Ability to work with the customer on a daily basis to train with the system, deploy the system and troubleshoot the system.
18. Able to operate independently, self-starter
Qualifications
High School with 9+ years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
19. Clearance Required: TS/SCI
20. 1-3 years SATCOM experience
21. 1-3 years Networking experience
22. Have experience working with COMSEC items/materials (i.e. Type 1 encryptors, SKLs, KGs, etc)
23. DoD 8140 IAT Level II (Sec+CE, CYSA+, CND, CCNA-Security
Preferred Skills and Experience
24. Experience with DoD deployed communications
25. Experience with DoD NIPR, SIPR, and JWICS Network
26. Experience with Low Earth Orbit communications
