* Familiarity with automotive standards, e.g., ISO 26262, ASPICE, SOTIF.
* Experience working in a startup or fast-scaling OEM environment.
* Knowledge of model-based development tools (e.g., SysML).
* Experience with autonomous vehicle development and AD features.
Your tasks
The Head of Vehicle EE Function Development is responsible for leading the strategic planning and development of Electrical and Electronic (EE) functions across vehicle platforms. This role ensures robust implementation of EE functionalities aligned with vehicle architecture, safety standards, and OEM-level product engineering maturity.
Leadership and Strategy:
* Define and lead the EE Function Development roadmap in line with vehicle program milestones and company strategy.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including EE Architecture, EE Testing, Safety, and Diagnostics to ensure consistent and holistic functions integration.
Function Development & Delivery:
* Derive the EE function specification, design, and implementation planning of EE functions across all vehicle platforms.
* Develop engineering artifacts of EE functions and align with vehicle systems owners including AD systems.
* Ensure traceability from functional requirements to implementation and validation.
Process & Quality Management:
* Establish and enforce standardized development processes for functions ownership, validation, and release.
* Ensure compliance with relevant safety (ISO 26262), cybersecurity (ISO 21434), and SOTIF standards.
* Maintain documentation and technical records to support quality audits and vehicle release processes.
Team & Capability Building:
* Build, mentor, and manage a multi-disciplinary team of function owners, MBSE, and development engineers.
* Develop internal expertise and promote knowledge sharing within the team and with other engineering groups.
Stakeholder Communication:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for EE function development topics with internal and external stakeholders.
* Report progress, risks, and mitigation plans to executive leadership and program teams.
