Data governance ensures consistent, sustainable, and reliable data management. It involves policies, procedures, and standards to maintain data quality, integrity, and availability, maximizing data value while minimizing risks.
As an intern in the Data Quality & Governance team, you will:
1. Facilitate communication across various departments to promote awareness and understanding of data quality and governance initiatives
2. Assist in the rollout of data quality and governance processes, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures
3. Support the documentation and maintenance of data governance frameworks and standards
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to educate employees about data governance practices
5. Help monitor and report on data quality metrics and data governance implementation

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
6. You are at least in the 3rd semester of a degree program at the time of the internship
7. Enrolled for the entire period of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a written must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelor's and Master's degree program (Gap Year)
8. Strong communication skills in English with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively. German is a plus
9. Ability to think outside the box and propose innovative solutions to data governance challenges
10. Detail-orientation with excellent organizational skills
11. Basic knowledge of MS Office
12. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
13. Curiosity and enthusiasm for learning and adapting to new challenges
14. Prior experience in data quality, data governance, or data management is a plus
