Working in a small team of Flavorists and Assistants, reporting to the Group Manager Savory Creation Development of new Flavors based on customer projects, pro-active projects and personal creativity The work generally involves matching of competitor Flavors and development of Top-note-, Powder Blended- and Spray dried Flavors Optimization and modification of existing Flavors for special applications and/or for harmonization/rationalization purposes Professionally use analytical and/or sensory data for development of Flavors Evaluation of new raw materials Contribute to Safety aspects and audit requirements for the Savory Creation team Be involved in raw material calamities projects Cooperate with Application department for evaluation & development of Flavors & Applications Support our Sales team & customers with relevant consulting, visits, trainings and workshops We prefer a bachelor’s or master’s degree in food technology, Food Science or Chemistry >5 Years of experience as Flavorist in the Flavor industry Current job title Flavorist or Senior Flavorist Experience with development of Top-note- & Powder Blended Flavors Experience with development of Seasonings is an advantage Highly appreciated is experience with Flavor development for African countries Willingness traveling abroad (also African countries) up to 10% of working time Knowledge of Savory Applications (especially Bouillon products) Good knowledge of spoken and written English language and good knowledge of spoken and written French language is an advantage You are able to work autonomously but also in a team and a multi-cultural environment Continuous development 30 days of vacation per year Flexible working hours Accident insurance Capital-forming payments Job bike We welcome applications from people who are as diverse as we are - for example, regardless of age, disability, ethnic origin and nationality, gender, religion, sexual orientation or social background.
