Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Sales and Business Development Engineer to join our team. With over 25 years of experience, our company is a leading provider of temporary water and wastewater treatment services. We offer an alternative to fixed plants to help customers maintain continuity of supply to core operations and minimize downtime in a wide range of situations.

This role plays a crucial part in business and profitability growth, ensuring commercial development and brand awareness in the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the commercial development of mobile water solutions activities and brand awareness in their region.

The Sales and Business Development Engineer will participate in communication actions, prospect potential new customers, prepare proposals in cooperation with process experts, negotiate prices, develop strategies to boost sales, manage customer portfolios, and ensure commercial follow-up with customers to make them long-term partners.

Key responsibilities include direct strategic sales and negotiations, maintaining contact with existing customers and building long-term partnerships, calculating prices based on standard cost sheets, and preparing proposals (technical and process support from Europe Operations Team).

Our ideal candidate must have:

* A Master's degree or engineering degree or equivalent in commerce or technology
* Proven technical experience in sales, preferably in the field of water treatment or a related industry
* Extensive working experience in sales and business development in the water and wastewater treatment industry
* Experience and proven capability to work across cultures, borders, and different methods of executing business within an international team
* Proficiency in English and German to communicate effectively and clearly with both technical and non-technical personnel, including clients, team members, and management
* Possess a valid driver's license to drive in the region
