WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
* You take the lead in developing, implementing, and continuously enhancing the company-wide information security strategy with a long-term, forward‑looking perspective.
* You build, operate, and further develop a holistic Information Security Management System (ISMS) aligned with recognized standards such as ISO 27001 or TISAX (VDA ISA).
* You conduct regular risk analyses, derive the right technical and organizational measures, and ensure that these are implemented consistently across all relevant areas.
* You plan, conduct, and support internal and external audits and assessments based on applicable standards like ISO 27001 or TISAX.
* You coordinate and manage the incident response process, analyze security incidents, and drive preventative and corrective actions.
* You ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and internal requirements while strengthening governance processes throughout the organization.
* You support and advise international business units on all information security topics, acting as a trusted partner and expert.
* You develop and deliver security awareness programs and training initiatives to strengthen the overall security mindset across the company.
* You manage external service providers, collaborate with security partners, and take responsibility for global security projects when needed.
* You provide regular reports to senior management and the executive team, offering clear recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
WHAT YOU BRING
* You have a degree in computer science, IT security, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
* You bring several years of professional experience in the field of information security, ideally gained in a similar role such as Information Security Officer, IT Security Manager, or ISMS Manager.
* You are well versed in the current standards — for example ISO 27001 or TISAX (VDA ISA) — and have hands‑on experience in building, operating, or enhancing an ISMS.
* You have strong knowledge of risk management and are familiar with handling regulatory requirements.
* You hold one of the required certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
* You work analytically, structured, and independently and keep a clear overview even in complex situations.
* You bring excellent communication and consulting skills and feel confident engaging with senior management.
* You communicate fluently in English and German and are comfortable working in international environments.
