Within the Space Environment domain several topics are addressed. In particular subjects tightly linked with space sustainability are currently seeing an increased demand for analyses. One such topic is re-entry analyses, to predict the fragmentation of a spacecraft during destructive re-entry after end of life and subsequently quantifying ground casualty risk caused by fragments reaching ground. The second hot topic is the protection of spacecraft against micrometeorites and orbital debris. Vulnerability of critical components and their probability of failure are calculated.
