Are you experienced within an operational logistics role? Then this could be the right vacancy for you! We are recruiting for a Transport Coordinator at GXO Logistics, supporting our logistics site in Hammersbach (Germany).
Your role / What your day as Transport Coordinator looks like:
* Take over of the carrier management for one of our warehouses
* Overview the entire transport process
* Run and analyze KPI based reports and optimize processes
* Monitor the entire transport flow with your carriers
* Identify potential improvements in transport processes and implement them
* With your experience you will increase operational efficiency
* Act as an interface between the carriers, the customer and work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Your Profile:
* Vocational training in logistics and transport management or similar
* 3-5 years of experience in a similar role in carrier or transport management within a forwarding agency or 3PL environment
* Experience with carrier and warehouse management systems (CMS/WMS)
* Analytical mindset witch good Excel skills and able to take actions based on your reports
* Fluent German and English both spoken and written
* You are customer focused, and you are going the extra mile to ensure smooth operations
* You are a team player who can also work independently on assigned tasks
