The Chair of Software Engineering for Business Information Systems (sebis) at the Technical University of Munich is looking for experienced candidates for a full-stack developer position to be filled on August 1st to enlarge our strong research team developing production-quality medical NLP applications (see German version below / siehe unten für Deutsche Version).
Your Responsibilities
1. Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure front-end and back-end components for cloud-native and on-premise NLP applications.
2. Develop intuitive UIs for medical professionals, robust APIs, and efficient database architectures.
3. Automate deployment pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure (e.g., GCP, AWS), and ensure system reliability, security, and performance throughout the full development lifecycle.
4. Work in interdisciplinary applied projects with academic and medical experts.
5. Supervise Bachelor’s and Master’s theses supporting your responsibilities.

Your Qualifications
15. A very good Master’s degree in Computer Science, Medical Informatics, Business Informatics or a related field.
16. Practical experience as a full-stack developer for cloud-native and/or on-premise applications, ideally with AI capabilities.
17. Strong proficiency in technologies such as: TypeScript/React, Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL/MongoDB Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform LLM integration (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain)
18. Familiarity with cloud platforms, automated testing, container orchestration, and secure DevOps workflows.
19. High motivation to create innovative NLP solutions addressing business, medical, and societal needs.
20. Excellent communication skills and experience working in distributed, multicultural teams.
21. Proficiency in German is required (B1 certificate).

Der Lehrstuhl für Software Engineering für Wirtschaftsinformatik (sebis) an der Technischen Universität München sucht erfahrene Kandidaten (m/f/d) für eine Full-Stack Entwicklerposition, die zum 1. August besetzt werden soll. Ziel ist die Verstärkung unseres starken Forschungsteams zur Entwicklung produktionsreifer medizinischer NLP-Anwendungen.
Ihre Aufgaben
