As an Associate in the Portfolio Management Team, you will be responsible for the strategic management of a portfolio of real estate assets in Germany, focusing on optimising performance and driving value creation. The role combines strong financial skills, strategic insight, and stakeholder management, working closely with cross‑national teams in Portugal and Spain.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement asset strategies to maximise value, improve returns, and ensure alignment with corporate and investor objectives.
* Monitor portfolio performance, analysing operational and financial KPIs as well as market trends to identify opportunities for growth and risk mitigation.
* Lead advanced financial analysis, including financial modelling, valuations and scenario planning to support investment decisions and financing opportunities.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Property Management, Leasing, Development, Finance, among others) to drive business plans and ensure operational excellence.
* Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including partners, investors, service providers and regulatory bodies.
* Prepare and present reports and recommendations to investors and internal decision‑making bodies, translating complex analysis into clear and actionable insights.
Profile
Professional Experience
* 5+ years of experience in Real Estate Investment, Portfolio Management or Asset Management, preferably with commercial real estate assets.
* Proven track record in managing and optimising asset or investment portfolios and in engaging with investors.
* Academic Background
* Degree and/or Master’s in Finance, Management, Economics or a related field.
Technical Skills
* Advanced financial modelling skills, with solid experience in building and maintaining complex models.
* Strong expertise in financial analysis and valuations.
* Ability to interpret market data and trends and translate them into strategic portfolio decisions.
* Fluency in German and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
* Fact‑based and rigorous approach to analysis and decision‑making.
* Leadership potential and a proactive, results‑oriented mindset, with strong sense of ownership.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
* Comfortable operating with high autonomy in an international environment, coordinating with teams in different geographies and cultures.
