The Business Intelligence Analyst I supports strategic planning and decision-making by applying financial, market, and analytical expertise to identify and evaluate strategic initiatives with a global focus. This role assists management in researching potential business opportunities aligned with the organization’s short- and long-term objectives. The analyst conducts routine analysis and modeling to assess the impact of public policy changes, evaluate existing business lines, and identify new growth opportunities.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnder close supervision, conduct market research, data collection, and analysis to support long- and short-term strategic programs and initiatives for the Corporate Development Office (CDO).Assist in translating quantitative and qualitative analyses into actionable corporate strategies.Perform financial feasibility studies and market research using primarily external data sources.Support the development of business planning models and present findings to Corporate Development leadership.Analyze and model initiatives using data from multiple external sources and selected internal datasets, as requested by senior management.Utilize external “data-room” resources to insights, conclusions, and questions for engagement with external partners.Collaborate with business line senior management to support the development of strategic business plans.Assist with routine economic analysis, financial projections, and risk assessments to support strategic growth and profitability goals.Partner with internal departments to develop model assumptions and assess the impact of new business opportunities on existing operations.Support project management activities related to strategic initiatives, including resource identification, timelines, and milestone tracking.Assist in drafting reports, presentations, and materials for senior management and the supervisory board.Support additional projects as assigned by senior leadership.Escalate issues to supervisors or senior analysts as appropriate.Follow general instructions for routine work and detailed guidance for new assignments; work is reviewed for accuracy and soundness.Build productive internal and external relationships and continue developing professional expertise.Perform other duties as assigned.Additional responsibilities may vary by department or location, as outlined in applicable addenda.Physical Demands and Working ConditionsThe physical demands and work environment described are representative of those required to perform essential job functions.Reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities.Travel may be required.EducationBachelor’s degree required.Experience and Required Skills0–2 years of related professional experience.Ability to support the development of local marketing and strategic plans.Exposure to business development activities, from evaluation through integration and implementation, preferred.Ability to interact directly with diverse stakeholders, including physicians.Strong teamwork skills within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong computer skills, including proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, and email applications.Additional InformationFresenius Medical Care maintains a drug-free workplace in compliance with applicable federal and state laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr
