The Role
The Interim Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) will join the executive leadership team for a defined period to provide strategic and operational HR leadership during a critical phase of growth and transformation. The role requires a seasoned HR executive with the ability to quickly assess the situation, stabilise processes, and implement solutions that ensure business continuity while laying the foundation for long-term success.
Reporting lines:
* Direct reports: 1
* Indirect reports: 7 (HR leaders across international sites)
* Reporting to: Group CEO
Candidate Profile
* 10+ years of HR leadership experience, ideally in industrial/manufacturing or multi-site environments
* Strong background in leading organizations through transformation, post-merger integration, or restructuring
* Proven ability to quickly adapt and deliver impact in interim or transitional leadership assignments
* Pragmatic, hands-on approach with the ability to balance urgent priorities with strategic oversight
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence and align stakeholders quickly
* Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
* High flexibility and willingness to travel internationally
Key Responsibilities
* Provide immediate HR leadership and ensure stability of global HR operations during a period of transition
* Review and refine the company’s HR structures, processes, and systems to support rapid scaling
* Oversee talent acquisition and critical workforce planning to address urgent business needs
* Support leadership development, succession, and retention of key talent in a transitional context
* Guide cultural alignment and change management initiatives across multiple countries
* Ensure compliance with relevant labour regulations and manage HR risk exposure
* Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Executive Committee on people and organizational matters
* Prepare the organization for the handover to a long-term HR leadership solution
