A day in the life of this role involves leading shifts at an operational site and acting as a link between different teams. You'll focus on performance and risk metrics, innovate ways to tackle demand, and mentor your team.
The team is responsible for managing heavy items like furniture and large home appliances. Our service includes supply chain fulfilment, delivery, returns, unpacking, assembling, and installing items, plus taking away old ones when needed. We're changing the way customers buy and receive large goods.
We have ambitious plans to expand our specialist centres and delivery stations. While some night shifts are involved, most work occurs during the day. Our team comprises people from operations, supply chain, business intelligence, and programme management, all contributing to growing this part of the business.
