We are seeking, to start as soon as possible and initially for a one-year fixed-term contract, an Internal IT Service Provider for Administration (m/f/d) on a full-time or part-time basis Reference NumberWhat you can expect: As an internal IT service provider, you will manage the entire IT infrastructure of the administration.
You will be responsible for the procurement, installation, operation, and maintenance of end devices (PCs, laptops, mobile phones).
In collaboration with the central IT department, you will support printers, networks (LAN/Wi-Fi), as well as the central IT services and processes of the administration.
In addition, you will serve as the primary point of contact for administrative staff regarding IT support.
You will ensure secure and stable IT operations and contribute to the optimization of IT processes and services.
Furthermore, you will act as the central point of contact for the IT department of the General Administration.
You will also actively support the digital transformation of the administration by identifying meaningful AI use cases and coordinating and supporting the introduction and implementation of practical AI applications.
You will empower employees through concepts, guidelines, and training on safe usage.
For this versatile position, we are seeking a dedicated, service-oriented individual with technical expertise and an interest in digital innovations.
What you bring to the table: Completed IT training (e.g., IT Specialist in System Integration) or a degree in (Business) Computer Science, Administrative Information Systems, or a comparable qualification Practical experience in managing IT workstations (PCs, laptops, mobile devices) as well as in the installation, maintenance, and administration of hardware and software (including Microsoft, Citrix, SAP) Strong knowledge of networks (LAN/Wi-Fi), printing infrastructure, and IT security fundamentals Experience in IT support and a passion for providing competent, solution-oriented assistance to employees Interest in digital developments and, ideally, initial experience with AI applications (e.g., chatbots, assistance or automation tools) Understanding of administrative procedures and digital transformation processes (knowledge of the public sector is an advantage but not a requirement) What sets you apart: Strong service and communication skills Ability to explain technical topics clearly and conduct training sessions Independent, structured, and reliable work style Enjoyment of actively developing IT processes and implementing new solutions Team spirit and the ability to act as a central liaison between administration, IT, and general management Excellent German language skills; English skills are desirable What we offer you: You will take on a diverse, independent role in a dynamic and culturally stimulating international research environment.
