Lead and mentor the development team while defining architecture, technical standards, and best practices. Stay hands-on in Java development — implementing features, improving code quality, and resolving complex production issues. Drive the modernization of monolithic structures toward modular and service-oriented architectures. Collaborate closely with Product Management and stakeholders to shape the technical roadmap. Continuously improve development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices. You will work in a modern and evolving tech environment including Java (Spring Boot, Microservices), AWS, Docker, CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins), relational databases, and messaging systems such as RabbitMQ. This is not a coordination role — it’s a hands-on leadership position where you actively shape architecture, scalability, and long-term technical direction. What do you already bring with you? Several years of experience as a Senior Java Developer with strong architectural expertise Proven technical leadership and mentoring experience Experience modernizing monolithic systems and designing scalable distributed architectures Solid knowledge of cloud environments (ideally AWS) and container technologies (Docker) Strong analytical mindset, ownership attitude, and collaborative working style Fluent German and English We want to further expand the diversity of our company and provide appropriate professional support for people with disabilities.
