Fullfilment Design Engineer is responsible for designing and implementing innovative processes as well as ground-breaking equipment and automation solutions along the Rohlik roadmap. They will be closely working with the Head of Engineering (direct line reporting) as well as the Head of Operations Systems & OPEX (dotted line reporting) across the EU fulfillment network. The role requires hands-on engineering skills and the ability to work in an agile environment with often ambiguous situations. Project management will be a crucial part of the job combined with excellent communication skills to internal and external stakeholders. What will be your key reponsibilities: Defines requirements for future processes and works with suppliers to develop solutions meeting those requirements Develops automation and engineering solutions along the Rohlik fulfillment roadmap Independently identifies improvement opportunities and innovates accordingly along the current process landscape (virtual and physical) Drives change management with local teams and project managers Runs trials and prototyping of new technology Collaborates with ‘OPEX team’ to ensure Standard work is established for any new process and equipment Collaborates with ‘Operations System’-team to support the development of apps and software matching the physical process needs What do we look for 3 years operational experience in a process engineering role, e.g. with companies such as 4Flow, Ingenics, Metroplan, Fortna Leadership skills: ability to lead ambiguous discussions and show backbone while working in a fast-paced environment English on a level of business communication.
