Responsibilities:
1. Administer: Act as the go-to system administrator for global financial reporting tools (SAP, Hyperion, Power BI, Excel), ensuring technical consistency and data reliability.
2. Validate: Perform plausibility checks across data sources—from ERP systems to eCommerce files—to maintain accuracy and coherence in reporting outputs.
3. Integrate: Oversee the flow and integration of financial data from multiple systems during monthly closing, forecasting, and planning cycles.
4. Copilot: Assist in intelligent decision making, by offering recommendations based on analytic insights and predictive data modeling and supports scenario simulations to evaluate financial metrics.
5. Optimize: Drive continuous improvement by automating reports, building dashboards to streamline processes and enhance user experience, and developing clear, up-to-date process and system documentation to ensure transparency and knowledge transfer across teams.
6. Collaborate: Actively engage in internal and cross-functional projects (e.g. digital transformation, SAP rollouts, ESG reporting), contributing to a system -oriented mindset and helping shape a resilient, future-ready systems landscape.
Qualifications:
7. Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Controlling, Operational Finance, or a comparable qualification.
8. Experience: First hands-on experience in operational controlling or financial systems support.
9. Languages: Fluent English (written and verbal); German is a plus.
Skills that make a difference
10. Tool Affinity: Familiarity with ERP and management reporting systems (SAP, Hyperion, etc.); Power BI or Power Query knowledge is a plus.
11. Technical Skills: Solid Excel skills and high overall digital literacy; no need to code but ability to navigate and connect data across tools is essential.
12. Mindset: Curious, system-oriented thinker with an interest in KPIs, data flows, and financial metrics (e.g. understanding P&L, BS, Cash-Flow)
13. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, flexibility in shifting priorities, and confidence communicating with international teams via email and calls.
