Responsibilities
* You lead the global Filter Engineering organization, including people development across teams in Germany, USA, China, and India .
* From innovation and development to phase-out, you own the end-to-end product lifecycle management for physical and digital products.
* You plan and steer the global innovation and R&D portfolio, ensuring prioritization, resource alignment, and on-time execution.
* To enhance performance, quality, and cost efficiency, you drive continuous product improvement and VA/VE initiatives.
* You coordinate global standardization and committee activities to shape regulations, and to build external networks for technology scouting, partnerships, and talent pipelines.
* You manage budgets, cost centers, and the global intellectual property portfolio within Filter Engineering .
* Ensuring technical excellence, you provide high-level technical support to Sales, Operations, and customers on complex engineering topics.
Qualifications
* Successfully completed master’s degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
* Extensive experience in product or engineering leadership, ideally within industrial air filtration.
* Proven experience in leading international teams, with strong lateral leadership and people development capabilities.
* Solid background in innovation and project management, with a strong execution and prioritization mindset.
* Experience in standardization, industry associations, and external technical committees, with the ability to build and leverage global networks.
* Strategic and analytical thinker with execution strength, empathy, and the ability to build external professional networks across industry, academia, and associations.
* Fluent English language skills round off your profile (German and other additional languages are a plus).
