ITT Bornemann GmbH is a company of the ITT Corporation and is one of the leading manufacturers of screw pumps and system solutions for various fields of application such as the oil and gas, pharmaceutical and food industries. At our location in Obernkirchen/near Hanover we employ about 240 people.
For the next possible start date we are looking for a Quality inspector (f/m/d)
Grundlegende Verantwortlichkeiten
Your Duties:
1. Driving quality message and ethos in the valve department with VBM, VPM and QM.
2. Ensuring the effectiveness of the quality management system in the valve department.
3. Receipt inspection on purchased parts for valves and systems for compliance.
4. Material tests using an XRF spectrometer (PMI test).
5. Measurement and visual final/exit inspection on valves and systems for compliance with customer specifications according to specified drawings and test plans.
6. Measurement and collation of any customer specific quality requirements.
7. Monitoring the production processes and, if necessary, defining improvements including documentation.
8. Development and improvement of Valve customer complaints process
9. Ownership of customer complaints process
10. Ownership of deviations and preparation of deviation reports
11. Ownership of Valve documentation, DOCWARE.
12. Creation of quality/training materials and training of production employees.
13. Monitoring and execution of measuring equipment for calibration status.

14. Technical expert in engineering
15. ERP- Pro Alpha knowledge an advantage
16. Knowledge of measurement and testing technology
17. Understanding of DIN ISO 9001:2015
18. Knowledge and experience of quality tools
19. Knowledge of various manufacturing processes
20. self motivated and driven
21. Team player over multiple disciplines
22. Good communication skills
23. Communication in German and English written and verbal is a must
