Job Description
Operational Excellence Team (Ops Excellence) is a part of the Operations Teams with a focus on optimizing operational processes to achieve maximum efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness throughout the supply chain. Ops Excellence works closely with various teams at 7S, such as freight logistics, parcel logistics, product, business intelligence, and engineering.
The essence of your role
* Supporting the creation and maintenance of real-time dashboards and reports
* Building process automations using code / low-code / no-code tools
* Assisting with the documentation of workflows, automations, and best practices to support knowledge sharing and team scalability
* Proactively identifying inefficiencies in operational processes and proposing actionable improvement measures
* Collaborating on cross-functional projects with teams across the organization
Qualifications
This is what you need to succeed
* Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program, ideally in Business Informatics, Data Analysis, Econometrics, or Economics, with availability to work 20 hours per week.
* Strong motivation to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, international logistics environment.
* Comfortable working with G Suite, particularly Google Sheets, and eager to deepen skills by learning tools like Google Apps Script. Familiar with using low-code/no-code platforms such as Make.com, Zapier, or n8n to help streamline and automate operational workflows.
* Experience using SQL for exploring data and supporting reporting needs, as well as contributing to dashboards built with tools like Looker, Power BI, or Tableau to help track operational performance.
* Strong English communication skills, especially while explaining technical solutions clearly and effectively.
