Are you passionate about rare diseases and eager to contribute to meaningful innovations in the biotech space? Our client – a fast-growing international biopharmaceutical company with European hubs in cities like Munich, Milan, Paris, London, and Madrid – is looking for an experienced Associate Medical Advisor who will also serve as Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Austria.
This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to build scientific partnerships, shape local medical strategies, and work closely with cross-functional teams in an entrepreneurial, science-driven environment.
💼 Your Impact
Field-based (Austria, ~50%)
* Build and manage strong KOL relationships across Austria in endocrinology and rare diseases
* Represent the company at medical congresses and scientific events
* Provide scientific support to HCPs, researchers, and internal commercial teams
* Gather medical insights from the field to inform strategy and pipeline planning
* Support clinical trial sites and investigators
Remote (Austria & Germany, ~50%)
* Lead and implement local Medical Affairs initiatives
* Drive the development and review of scientific and promotional materials
* Contribute to local publication planning and medical education
* Collaborate with global and regional teams to ensure alignment of messaging and medical content
* Serve as a key interface between Medical Affairs and cross-functional teams (Market Access, Marketing, Sales, Regulatory, Compliance)
🧬 What You Bring
* Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD) in a life science field
* At least 5 years of experience in Medical Affairs (preferably in rare diseases or endocrinology)
* Strong knowledge of the healthcare landscape in Austria and Germany
* Fluency in German and English (French or Italian is a plus)
* Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
* A proactive, independent, and structured working style
