Your role
” (for the Institutional Law Division); or very good knowledge of EU regulations on prudential supervision matters including the crisis management framework, as well as the functioning of credit institutions (for the Supervisory Law Division); or very good knowledge of general financial law and sound knowledge of EU financial regulation and a good understanding of the functioning of financial markets and institutions (for the Financial Law Division);
1. an advanced (C1) command of English and an intermediate (B1) command of at least one other official language of the EU, according to the

2. an additional postgraduate university degree in banking, financial or EU constitutional law, and membership of a bar association;
3. previous work experience with the legal service of an EU institution or body or a constitutional court of an EU Member State, including work in applied comparative constitutional law (for the Institutional Law Division); with an EU institution or body or national competent authority in the field of prudential banking supervision (for the Supervisory Law Division); with an EU institution or body, an international organisation, a national authority, a central bank, a financial institution or law firm, dealing with relevant financial law matters (for the Financial Law Division);
4. experience in litigation before the EU courts.

Working modalities To enable the Directorate General Legal Services to maintain its business continuity capability, you will occasionally be expected to perform work during non-standard working hours.We would be happy to discuss a part-time arrangement for this role.
