Integrated Circuit Design Training Opportunity
The training program is based in the Bavarian Chip Design Center (BCDC), a strategic initiative that aims to strengthen the regional semiconductor industry and develop skilled talent in integrated circuit design.
* You will receive a comprehensive introduction to digital IC design under the guidance of experienced engineers and researchers.
* Hands-on experience in designing and analyzing digital circuits from the front-end perspective.
* Knowledge of SystemVerilog for building processor systems and hardware accelerators using the RISC-V architecture.
Eligibility Criteria
We are looking for candidates with a Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Analog Circuit Design, or related fields. Strong knowledge in data structures and algorithms, computer architecture, coding, and scripting is required. Proficiency in English at least at B2/C1 level is necessary.
* A background in studies focused on digital systems, verification, embedded software, or digital hardware is desirable but not mandatory.
* Familiarity with a hardware description language (HDL) is preferred.
* Experience with design tools such as Cadence or Synopsys is considered advantageous.
Training Offerings
Our trainee program combines theoretical and practical training in digital integrated circuit design. The program includes academic and industrial development, including scripting, automation, and EDA tools. A supportive environment, flexible working hours, and unique opportunities for professional growth and networking make this an attractive opportunity.
