We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Engineer (m/f/d) to join our High-Pressure Pump (HPP) Division, managing customer in North and Eastern Europe markets and based in Germany. You will focus on high-pressure pump, energy recovery and valve systems for the water sector, including desalination, wastewater treatment, and other high-pressure water applications.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Identify and develop new business opportunities in the North European market and selected Eastern European countries, focusing on expanding the High-Pressure Pump (HPP) Division.
2. Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to maximize sales opportunities and meet customer needs.
3. Making professional and accurate proposals to customers.
4. Developing and executing feasible sales plans plus building a comprehensive customer database.
5. Developing, qualifying, following up and closing sales opportunity.
6. Managing the Sales pipeline in the CRM at high standards.
7. Monitoring markets and competitions.
8. Provide technical consultancy to clients on Danfoss’ high-pressure pump and valve solutions, ensuring a clear understanding of product benefits and applications.
9. Collaborate closely with the internal team to provide comprehensive client support, including order management, issue resolution, and technical assistance.
10. Travel regularly to meet clients and participate in trade fairs or industry events relevant to the HPP Division.
What We're Looking For
11. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering.
12. Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in water treatment, high-pressure pumps, or valves.
13. Ability to independently manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
14. Experience selling to OEMs, contractors, distributors, and end users.
15. Familiarity with CRM tools such as SAP and/or Salesforce.
16. Willingness to travel up to 40% of the year across Northern and Eastern Europe.
17. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships quickly and effectively.
18. Strong command of English and German; knowledge of additional languages such as Polish or Czech is a plus.
