  As a BI Specialist (m/f/d), you will be responsible for building, developing, and operating modern data and analytics solutions. You will ensure that data-driven decisions are supported by high-quality data models, high-performance data marts, and insightful reports and dashboards.

Data Architecture & Data Modeling

• Conception, development and maintenance of data marts and analytical data models
• Building a scalable data architecture based on modern cloud technologies
• Ensuring data quality, consistency and governance

Data integration (ETL/ELT)

• Development and operation of ETL/ELT processes for the integration of data from various source systems
• Implementation of transformation logics with dbt
• Development and optimization of solutions on Snowflake and Azure
• Connection and integration of interfaces (e.g. ERP, CRM, PIM, external data sources)
• Performance tuning and cost optimization of data pipelines

Reporting & Analytics

• Creating interactive reports and dashboards with Tableau
• Analysis of business requirements and translation into BI solutions
• Providing decision-relevant KPIs for specialist departments and management

Interfaces & Collaboration

• Close collaboration with specialist departments (e.g., Sales, Finance, Operations) to gather requirements.
• Consulting on best practices in the field of data analytics and BI
• Participation in projects for digitalization and process optimization

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in the field of Business Intelligence / Data Engineering
• Solid knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, SQL & data modeling, dbt, Snowflake, Microsoft Azure (Data Services), ideally Lobster and experience with Tableau or comparable BI tools
• Understanding modern data architectures in the cloud
• Ideally, experience with API integrations and interfaces.
• Knowledge of data quality management and governance is an advantage.
• Analytical thinking and structured working methods
• High level of initiative and solution-oriented approach
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex issues in an understandable way
• Teamwork skills and a hands-on mentality
• Very good German and English skills
