Join us as our DevOps & Cloud Engineer Engineer (m/w/d) at Dedalus, one of the World’s leading healthcare technology companies, in Trier or 100% Home Office in Germany to do the best work of your career and make a profound impact in providing better care for a healthier planet.
Your Tasks:
1. Design, develop, and maintain platform tooling that enables efficient deployment, monitoring, and operations of containerized applications across hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud)
2. Implement and manage container applications using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security
3. Develop new features using modern programming languages (Go, Java), and maintain existing codebases following software engineering best practice
4. Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment pipelines using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Helm, or Ansible
5. Collaborate with development and operations teams to define requirements, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve platform usability and performance
You bring in:
6. Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience in the context of the job description
7. More than 3 years of experience
8. Background in Software Engineering and / or System Integrations
9. Practical experience in development of enterprise applications
10. Experience with a programming language (Go, Java,...)
11. Experience in CI environments and DevOps methodologies
12. Experience with container virtualization and management
13. Knowledge in working on Linux, Windows, Cloud-native
14. A plus is knowledge with Kubernetes
15. Languages Skills: English and German C1 - C2
16. Experience in the healthcare domain would be beneficial
17. Knowledge in development of Web and Desktop Applications
