* 3-5 years in agile leadership or senior technical roles with a track record of managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams, supported by strong communication, coaching, and team-building skills.
* Solid engineering background with experience in DevOps (CI/CD, monitoring), Linux/Docker/Kubernetes, automation using Python/PHP/Go, as well as practical knowledge of SQL/ORM, REST APIs, and clean-code principles (SOLID, DRY, KISS), including event-driven architectures.
* Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible), cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP), and key routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and VLANs.

The Product Technology area develops and maintains the applications to manage DE-CIX products globally. Within that area, the Cloud Services Team is responsible for all DE-CIX cloud connectivity-related services (like DirectCLOUD or DE-CIX Cloud ROUTER) offered to customers at our Internet or Cloud Exchange Points.
The lead engineer is responsible for both technical and people leadership, within the Cloud Services team.
