Your Mission
As a Trading Cards Expert, you will grow Catawiki’s Trading Cards category across the European market. You will combine deep category expertise with a strong commercial mindset to expand supply, onboard sellers, and curate high-quality auctions that drive measurable results.
By leveraging your network and collaborating with local teams across Europe, you will strengthen Catawiki’s position within the European Trading Cards ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
4. Evaluate and approve lots based on authenticity, condition, grading, and market demand
5. Provide accurate and competitive value estimates using market knowledge and data
6. Curate weekly auctions featuring Pokémon, One Piece, Sports Cards, and other major TCGs
7. Actively onboard professional and high-potential private sellers across Europe, expanding category supply
8. Build and maintain strong relationships with card shops, dealers, wholesalers, collectors, and grading communities
9. Analyze auction performance and buyer behaviour to identify growth opportunities and improve results
10. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to drive category growth and commercial success
What You’ll Bring
11. Deep expertise in Trading Cards, including Pokémon, One Piece, Sports Cards, and other major TCGs
12. Strong understanding of grading, condition, rarity, sealed products, and collector behaviour
13. Hands-on experience buying and selling trading cards, with strong pricing and trend awareness
14. Solid understanding of the European trading card market and a strong existing network
15. Commercial mindset with the ability to identify supply opportunities and drive growth
16. Fluent English skills, additional European languages are a plus
17. Confidence using data and digital tools to support decisions

Where You’ll Be
This role is a 100% remote role open to candidates based in Germany or the Netherlands, with close collaboration with local teams and daily interaction with colleagues across Europe.

Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Lisbon are designed to inspire collaboration. Most Catawikians operate in a hybrid setup, combining office-based and remote work, with a minimum of two days per week in the office, unless a role is explicitly stated as fully remote or fully office-based.
