ENGINEERING MANAGER
R&D - Dusseldorf, Germany - Full Time
Centric Software is looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our growing planning team in Germany. This is a remote role, based within Germany. We are looking for an experienced engineering manager to lead one of our cross-functional engineering teams in delivering high-quality, impactful products. You will work closely with product managers to support the discovery process and provide technical guidance throughout the product lifecycle. Your team will include experts in software engineering, data engineering, data science, and quality assurance.
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and support a diverse team of engineers, fostering their technical growth and career development. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by driving best practices in development, testing, and release management.
Delivery Process Ownership: Take full ownership of delivering projects with efficiency and quality, managing the entire software development lifecycle. Risk Management & Problem Solving: Proactively identify potential risks, both technical and operational, and create strategies to mitigate them. Experience: At least 8 years of experience in software engineering, with 2+ years in a leadership or engineering management role, ideally within a cross-functional team environment. Experience working with data scientists and data engineers is a strong plus.
Strong proficiency in software development, with experience across multiple programming languages. Experience with SaaS products and a strong understanding of data-driven applications is a plus.
Experience in leading teams in managing change and supporting their continuous improvement.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a data-driven, analytical approach to resolving challenges.
