The Manager Global Trade Services and Analytics will play a pivotal role in our biggest transfomation project ever named Transform360. Transform360 comes along with group-wide standardisation of end-to-end-processes in our five Divisions as well as with several roll-outs of SAP GTS together with SAP S/4HANA implementation. At least until the year 2030 you will work on the interface between customs and foreign trade requirements and proper solutions in SAP GTS but you will also serve as a translator between the Managers of customs and foreign trade operations and the IT department if any SAP GTS developments would be needed to further improve GEA´s business efficiency.
The Manager Global Trade Services and Analytics strongly contributes to achieve the predefined Transform360 roll-out strategy by implementation of SAP Global Trade Services within GEA Group.
The role directly reports to the Vice President Customs and Foreign Trade (headquarter) and is based in Dusseldorf / Germany or any other GEA location worldwide.
SAP GTS Management: You have the skills to configure, deploy and maintain SAP GTS modules (Compliance Management, Customs Management, Risk Management, etc.).
Trade Compliance: You ensure companies´ adherence to global trade regulations (import/export laws, sanctions, embargoes, etc.) Process Optimization: You can identify and implement process improvements in customs, trade, and logistics operations using SAP GTS and analytics tools.
Analytics & Reporting: You have fun to create dashboards and reports to analyze trade flows, compliance status, and operational KPIs.
Stakeholder Collaboration: You do not think in silos and like to learn from other professionals in GEA Group by close collaboration with other departments and workstreams (I2O, S2P, CTO, MDG etc.) Project Management: You manage cross-functional teams on a global scale and do not lose sight of the goal in an agile working mode because you know how to communicate and involve other colleagues to master challenges.
Training & Support: You are great in presenting and sharing your knowledge and can provide training and support to end-users and ensure effective change management for new processes and systems.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or Logistic Management, International Business or Business Administration, Information Systems or Technology, or related field. Couple of years of experience in global trade compliance, customs operations, or international logistics.
Professional experience with SAP GTS (configuration, implementation, rollout, or support) and / or with logistic modules of SAP S/4HANA (EWM, TMS)
Interest in data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI).
Deep understanding of global trade regulations, customs procedures and various functionalities of software solution SAP GTS to transfer customs and foreign trade processes into the digital age
Teamplayer with project management experience
