As Head of A2R & Tax Compliance for Germany, Switzerland, Austria (GSA), you will work hand-in-hand with the CFO Germany and senior leadership to shape best-in-class accounting and tax processes across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. You'll lead a talented team, drive meaningful transformation, and leave a real mark on Sanofi's financial excellence — all from our Frankfurt office. What You'll Do Finance & Accounting Leadership: Own end-to-end A2R operations for all DACH legal entities, ensuring accurate financial statements and full IFRS/IAS/local GAAP compliance Lead Balance Sheet & P&L reviews, external audits, and Legal Entity restructuring projects Drive continuous improvement across S2P, O2C, and ConOps processes in line with Core Model guidelines Manage the accounting impact of M&A activities (acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings) Partner with our HUBs in Budapest and Hyderabad to deliver seamless, high-quality service Support ESG and sustainability reporting in line with EU regulations Tax Compliance: Ensure timely, accurate quarterly tax reporting (IFRS) and full compliance with evolving regulations (BEPS, CbCR) Oversee transfer pricing across commercial, industrial, and R&D activities Lead responses to tax authority audits and inspections in close collaboration with local Tax Managers and external advisors Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Lead a team of 13 professionals (3 direct reports across Germany and Switzerland) Build strong partnerships with the MCO CFO, FP&A, Treasury, Legal, and cross-functional teams Champion talent development through IDPs, succession planning, and cross-functional mobility About you Professional experiences and education: Professional accounting qualification, University degree level or equivalent Multiple years of Finance experience in the pharma sector Corporate tax, transfer pricing, and/or indirect tax experience International/multicultural exposure HUB/BPO model experience (transitions) Managing professional tax and accounting teams Track record managing large efficiency improvement programs and transformation with change management Soft & Technical Skills: Proven leadership experience: Shape culture, motivate teams, drive common goals, think strategically and operationally Strong delivery orientation: business cases, planning, execution, ROI measurement Problem-solving and business judgment in fast-paced environment; prioritization skills (complex tax matters) Strong German GAAP/HGB expertise Very good IFRS knowledge (e.g., IAS 12), very good program/project management skills Good tax legislation knowledge: Withholding Taxes, VAT, Local file TP Excellent IT skills: Excel (vLookups, Pivot Tables), SAP, PowerBI; openness to AI and digital tools Independent worker, agile, proactive, positive team player, flexible Languages : Fluent German and English skills is a must Why This Role? The salary range for this position is :€101.040,00 - €151.560,00 Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors.
