In this strategic, full-time and unlimited role, you will optimize production processes, ensure high-quality seed supply for national and international customers, and lead the development of the German cross crops production department.

What you can look forward to:
Leading and developing teams in Seed Production (including trial seeds), Production Consultancy, Quality Laboratory, and LogisticsSteering the production activities and performance by indicators (industrial indicators, financial results, production cost ratio, personal goals defined)Driving professional and personal development of direct reports and team membersManaging budget and mid-term planning (investments, personnel, cost centers, production costs)Taking accountability for multiplication and production planning, including negotiation and coordination with external partnersActing as a key interface to KWS sales organization, international production networks, and crop leadsShaping the future of the production department by evolving structures, equipment, and crop portfolios Ensuring compliance with official regulations and advancing KWS internal standards and guidelinesLeading and contributing to strategic projects and cross-functional initiativesRepresenting KWS and contributing actively to seed associations and industry networks Bring your strengths:
Completed studies in agriculture, economics, or a related fieldSeveral years of proven experience in industry, ideally within the seed industry or seed production Demonstrated experience in leading leaders and managing complex organizational structuresExcellent German skills (spoken and written) and good English proficiencyStrong proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems, ideally SAP S/4Strong leadership presence, assertiveness, and the ability to manage change effectivelyEntrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and openness to sharing ideas across the organization Proven leadership strength, combining reliability, empathy, and the ability to lead teams through change and complexity High flexibility and collaboration skills, with an open mindset and strong cross-functional and stakeholder engagementWillingness to engage in industry networks and seed associations Start your future with us!
